The homes of Rumah Kita are all set set about fifty meters apart in a lush, tranquil garden with beautiful tropical flowers, and are surrounded with dozens of fruit trees, such as banana, coconut and mango.
The combination of shades and breeze guarantee for agreeable temperatures.
The garden is the common denominator at Rumah Kita.
Wherever you are, the garden is always prominently present. Due to its growth and shape, from each house the others are barely or not at all visible, so that absolute privacy is guaranteed.
All homes have socalled roofed living terraces downstairs, living rooms of an open construction, inharmony with nature, following the typical, traditional Balinese style of living. This spacious style of living, with the garden as a direct extention of the living room, adds considerably to a feeling of one-ness with nature.
